Short answer
Rubra Digital delivers LLM and RAG consulting to organisations in Switzerland, working across Zurich, Geneva, Basel and remotely. Engagements are designed around revFADP, FINMA circulars, Swiss banking secrecy. Swiss regions in Zurich or Geneva, with in-country inference where secrecy rules require it.
What is different about delivering in Switzerland
Switzerland sits outside the EU AI Act, but Swiss firms selling into the EU are caught by it anyway, so most Swiss clients build to the EU standard by choice. Banking secrecy obligations are stricter than GDPR on data egress, and for private banking and pharma work the practical answer is often a fully in-country deployment. Multilingual retrieval across German, French and Italian is the norm rather than the exception here.
How that changes my build
Swiss financial clients frequently need inference inside Swiss borders. I design for that constraint rather than retrofitting it.

AI consulting in Switzerland: FAQ
Do you work with clients in Switzerland?
Yes. I deliver remotely across CET/CEST with on-site workshops in Zurich, Geneva, Basel for discovery, architecture review and handover, which are the points where being in the room helps. My working language is English, and I work with source material in German and French and Italian.
Which regulations shape AI projects in Switzerland?
The frameworks that most often change how I design a system here are revFADP, FINMA circulars, Swiss banking secrecy, EU AI Act (extraterritorial). The primary data protection regulator is Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Swiss financial clients frequently need inference inside Swiss borders. I design for that constraint rather than retrofitting it.
Can our data stay in Switzerland?
Swiss regions in Zurich or Geneva, with in-country inference where secrecy rules require it. Where a client needs inference to stay inside the jurisdiction, that gets designed in from the start rather than retrofitted, including fully on-premise deployment with open-weight models where no external inference is permitted.
What does an AI consulting engagement cost in Switzerland?
Discovery engagements start at €22,000 and production builds typically run from €55,000 to €180,000 depending on scope. I invoice in CHF or EUR and quote fixed price for defined scopes, with the assumptions written down before you commit.
