This website sets no cookies. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking of any kind. That is why there is no consent banner. Under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary, and none is used here.
What the site does store
One item, in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, and only if you use it:

This value never leaves your device, is not sent to my servers, and contains nothing that identifies you. If you never use the theme toggle it is never written.
Why there is no analytics
The honest answer to what page-level analytics would be used for here is: very little. Not collecting it removes an entire category of compliance obligation, and it means clients in regulated sectors can be told truthfully that visiting this site creates no tracking record. If measurement is ever added it will be cookieless and aggregate-only, and this page will be updated before it goes live.
Third-party content
There are no third-party fonts, videos, maps, chat widgets, social buttons or advertising scripts on this site. Fonts are self-hosted on this domain. The only external party involved in serving the site is the hosting provider, which processes standard server request data as described in the privacy policy.
