New websites and full redesigns for small businesses in Portugal: fast, mobile-first, legally sound, and built to turn visitors into calls and messages.
Short answer
Rubra Digital designs and builds websites for small businesses in Portugal, with some clients in Germany: renovation firms, restaurants, shops and service businesses. Every site is mobile-first, loads fast, carries the legal pages its country requires, and is built around the one or two actions that matter most, such as booking a table or requesting a quote.

Most small businesses do not need a big website. They need a site that answers the three questions every visitor arrives with, on a phone, in a few seconds: what do you do, is it for me, and how do I get it.
Every project starts with the one or two actions that matter. For a restaurant it is the menu and a reservation. For a window fitter it is a quote request with enough detail to price the job. For a shop it is finding the product and paying for it. The design, the page structure and the text are all arranged around those actions, and everything else is secondary.
That sounds obvious, and yet plenty of small business sites bury the phone number, show the menu as a PDF that cannot be read on a phone, or ask for a quote through a form that sends the enquiry to an inbox nobody checks.
A site for a Portuguese business needs the company identification, the electronic complaints book link, the dispute resolution notice and consent before any tracking. A site for a German business needs a complete Impressum and fonts served from its own domain. These go in before launch, not after the first complaint. The details are on the Portugal and Germany pages.
Custom-built sites are the default for brochure, menu and booking sites: they load quickly, have nothing to patch every week, and cost very little to host. WordPress is the right choice when you want to publish often yourself, and a shop belongs on a real e-commerce platform. You can see examples of each in our work.

It depends on the number of pages, the languages, whether booking, quotes or a shop are built in, and who writes the text. There is no price list: after a short conversation you receive a free, no-obligation proposal that says exactly what is included before you decide.
Yes, for the things that change: opening hours, menus, prices, photos, news and offers. The layout is protected so an edit cannot break the design. If you would rather not touch it at all, a care plan covers those changes for you.
Yes. Most small business owners do not have time to write twenty pages, and the text matters as much for Google as for customers. We interview you, draft the pages, and you correct what we got wrong. You know your business; we know how people search for it.
It depends on what the site has to do. Most brochure and booking sites are custom-built, which keeps them fast and cheap to run. WordPress makes sense when you want to publish a lot yourself, and shops run on a proper e-commerce platform such as PrestaShop or Shopify. Our portfolio has all three.
Tell us about your business. You get a free, no-obligation proposal from whoever would do the work, with an honest view of what to fix first.
