I plan for a works council review from day one: that means logging what the model sees, keeping a human decision point on anything performance-related, and being able to show exactly which documents produced a given answer.

Where a client needs inference to stay inside the jurisdiction, that gets designed in from the start rather than retrofitted, including fully on-premise deployment with open-weight models where no external inference is permitted.
